The Autojoy "Better Than New" package includes 4 different work categories:

• Complete deep cleaning of the entire vehicle
• Thorough interior cleaning
• Multi-stage deep polishing
• Certified premium ceramic coating on the paint surface and other protective treatments

Let's start with the first category – complete deep cleaning of the entire vehicle

1) We begin with a thorough wheel cleaning: we wash the rims and tyres using high-quality yet safe products that remove not only dirt and tar but also iron contamination (airborne metal particles, brake dust accumulated on the rims, etc.).
We then perform a thorough wash of the car's bodywork. This starts with a pre-soak and pre-wash foam to make the subsequent contact wash as safe as possible for the paint surface. We remove iron contamination, tar, grease, and all other dirt and residues using various chemicals. For the contact wash, we use GYEON products (from liquids to accessories).

2) Once the exterior is completely clean, we remove the wheels. We deep clean all the wheel arches, removing the thick layers of mud and grime that have accumulated over the years. This is the most time-consuming cleaning process in this package, taking several hours. Once the arches are completely clean and dry, we treat them with GYEON Q² CanCoat Pro EVO ceramic coating to add a protective layer and make them more water- and dirt-repellent, making them much easier to wash next time.

3) The removed wheels are washed again separately to ensure they are completely clean on the inside as well. We then prepare the rims and tyres for ceramic protective treatments. We apply heat-resistant GYEON Q² Rim EVO rim ceramic to the rims (and brake calipers if they are painted), which lasts up to 18 months. The rim ceramic protects the rims and significantly reduces brake dust and dirt build-up, making future rim cleaning much easier. The rim ceramic does not add shine but slightly deepens and enriches the colour. We apply CARPRO BlackOut tyre ceramic to the tyres, which lasts up to 6 months. The tyre ceramic is water-repellent and resistant to road salt and chemicals. Tyres treated with tyre ceramic always look "new" – they have a satin-black finish comparable to a clean new tyre.

Thorough interior cleaning

1) The goal of our thorough interior cleaning is to bring the interior to the same standard as if it were new, while also applying various protective treatments.
We wash the floor mats and, depending on their type (rubber or textile), apply the appropriate treatment (textile floor mats are made dirt- and water-repellent using GYEON Q² FabricCoat).

2) We vacuum the entire interior and then clean it with specialised products, removing dust and dirt from under the seats and from various gaps that are otherwise hard to reach.
We make the interior spotless by performing a chemical clean of the seats, floor carpet, and boot. For leather interiors, we carry out leather care and apply leather ceramic instead of a conditioner. The leather ceramic creates a protective layer that repels dirt, prevents the leather from getting stained (including from blue jeans), and protects against liquids and UV rays. Every textile surface receives a dirt- and water-repellent GYEON Q² FabricCoat treatment.

3) After cleaning, we apply protective treatments to the plastic parts and screens, giving them a fresh appearance, an anti-static layer, and protection against UV rays.

Multi-stage deep polishing

Once the car is ready both inside and out, we begin the paint correction process. We cover all body panels that need to be protected from the polishing machine with special tape. We inspect all body panels with a paint thickness gauge, which tells us how much clear coat remains on each panel so we can choose the appropriate polishing strategy accordingly. Measuring paint thickness is important because if the clear coat is already too thin, polishing is inadvisable – there is a risk of polishing through the clear coat, which would leave the paint surface unprotected. If we find that the clear coat is dangerously thin or discover a particularly deep scratch, we will call the vehicle owner for consultation.

We carry out multi-stage deep polishing, which takes between 3 and 5 days depending on the car and its condition. With a sufficiently thick clear coat, we remove 100% of scratches that do not penetrate through the clear coat.

Certified premium ceramic coating on the paint surface and other protective treatments

We apply GYEON Q² Infinite series certified premium ceramic coating to the polished vehicle. Both a base layer and a top layer of ceramic are applied to the car body.
Certified ceramic protective treatments may only be applied by detailing facilities with extensive experience and a strong reputation that have been approved by the respective brand.

Ceramic coating properties: ultimate resistance to chemicals and the elements, very strong hydrophobic properties, excellent gloss, does not distort colour.

With the GYEON Q² Infinite series, it is possible to register an Infinite warranty, which provides lifetime protection (read more: https://gyeonservices.com/en/how-do-the-gyeon-warranties-work).
However, if the maintenance programme is not followed, we guarantee that GYEON Q² Infinite ceramic will last up to 5 years on the vehicle.
In addition to the paint ceramic, we also apply GYEON Q² View EVO glass ceramic to all exterior windows, which lasts up to 24 months. The glass ceramic makes the glass excellently water-repellent and significantly reduces the need for windscreen wipers.
We apply GYEON Q² Trim EVO plastic ceramic to the front and rear lights and all exterior plastics. The plastic ceramic restores the dark appearance of plastics, makes them water-repellent, and protects them from the elements (including sun damage).

After the ceramic protective treatments, the car remains in our facility to cure for 24 hours. It is important that the car is not used during the first 24 hours and that nothing comes into contact with its surface (dirt, rain, mud, etc.). After 24 hours, the vehicle may be collected – the ceramic has cured sufficiently and the vehicle is safe to use. However, the car must not be washed for the following 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, the ceramic has fully bonded with the vehicle's paint surface and the first maintenance wash can be carried out, which is free of charge at our facility.
